Introducing BRAUZZ., a Belgian scale-up that’s changing the household products market by an innovative twist. In a world where the cleaning industry paradoxically stands as one of the most polluting, BRAUZZ. wants to be a change maker with a focus on innovation and sustainability.
In the cleaning industry which ironically isn’t very clean, BRAUZZ. steps forward as a solution. Traditional cleaning products, consisting up to 90% water and packaged in single-use plastic bottles, contribute significantly to global pollution. Less than 10% of plastic produced worldwide gets recycled, leaving the rest to end up in landfills or be incinerated.
BRAUZZ.’s mission is clear: eliminate single-use plastics in the household industry. The approach involves offering concentrates that are plastic-free, biodegradable, and vegan. The belief at BRAUZZ. is that impactful, sustainable innovations can shouldn’t come with sacrificing on quality, ease of use, and competitive pricing.
Choosing BRAUZZ. means choosing a sustainable lifestyle without compromises:
- Convenience: BRAUZZ. products are pre-dosed, reducing the hassle of usage. With no need for excess plastic or water, our products are up to 20 times smaller than traditional cleaners. They conveniently fit through mailboxes, and subscriptions ensure a continuous supply, eliminating concerns about running out. The compact design also saves storage space and eases transportation.
- Sustainability: BRAUZZ. products are not just plastic-free, biodegradable, and vegan; they also contribute to a more sustainable supply chain by reducing CO2 emissions by over 90% during transportation.
- Effectiveness: Rigorous testing in independent labs has shown that BRAUZZ. products outperform traditional, sustainable brands that still use plastic packaging.
- Affordability: Subscribing to BRAUZZ. proves to be cost-effective, offering competitive prices compared to traditional A-brands, making this a no-brainer.
BRAUZZ. started as a student project, focusing on effervescent tablets and reusable bottles for surface cleaning. Over 4 operating years, it has evolved into a one-stop shop, gaining the trust of over 125,000 households in the BRAUZZ. community, collectively saving a staggering 1.031.815 plastic bottles. That’s 744.915 liters of water or 842.229 kg of CO2 spared from our planet’s burden.
The ambition of BRAUZZ. is to triple this impact by 2027.
We believe that we should be one of the 30 change makers of De Tijd as we’re a young Belgian company innovating on every level possible, tackling one of the most threatening topics of today’s society: plastic pollution. BRAUZZ. is disrupting a stagnant, traditional market, owned by big multinationals and is ready to change the industry forever.
