At Composil, we firmly believe that every carpet tile deserves a second life. Each square meter of carpet contains approximately 5 kg of refined petroleum, and sending these tiles to the incinerator releases a staggering 1 ton of CO₂ per 1,000 m².

Composil ReUse: An Innovative Circular Solution
Composil ReUse is the first structured initiative in Europe dedicated to the recovery, reuse, and recycling of office carpet tiles. Our approach focuses on two core pillars:
- Deconstruction Service: We offer companies a turnkey solution to repurpose their old carpet tiles. Following a detailed audit, reusable tiles are carefully dismantled, refurbished, and stored in sheltered workshops. Non-reusable tiles are recycled into new carpet tiles through partnerships with manufacturers.
- Sale of Reused Tiles: Refurbished tiles are reintroduced to the market, meeting the growing demand for circular materials at competitive prices, while delivering significant environmental benefits.
Tangible Results with Sustainable Impact
We have already saved over 250,000 m² of carpet tiles from incineration.
Today, we have a rolling stock of 40,000 m² of high-end circular tiles, ready to meet the needs of environmentally conscious customers in Europe, and beyond.
A Project with Multidimensional Impact
Composil ReUse goes beyond environmental benefits. Our vision is to transform our model into a European franchise, creating local, inclusive jobs through partnerships with sheltered workshops.
By the end of 2027, this initiative will generate 34 full-time equivalents (FTEs) in these workshops, alongside 9 new FTEs within the Composil Group.
Our goal is to become the European leader in circular carpet tile management, with ambitious objectives:
