KTPconTeyor; turning packaging into a climate solution

Sustainability has always been in our DNA and an integral part of how we operate and how we create value for our customers. In 2024, we continued to strengthen this commitment while entering a new chapter as one unified organization following the merger of KTP Kunststoff Pallettentechnik GmbH and conTeyor.

Rather than optimizing disposable packaging, KTPconTeyor applies systems thinking. Its solutions are designed to be durable, reusable, space-efficient and tailored to customer processes, transforming packaging from a short-lived consumable into a long-term asset. This approach reduces waste, lowers CO₂ emissions and decreases total cost of ownership over time. This approach creates a vital impact for our customers.

Our reusable packaging systems operate in closed return loops and typically remain in use for more than five years, replacing large volumes of single-use cardboard and plastic packaging. By avoiding repeated production and disposal, these systems significantly reduce emissions associated with raw material extraction, manufacturing and waste treatment. In doing so, KTPconTeyor not only lowers its own footprint, but also helps customers reduce their Scope 3 emissions, which are increasingly targeted under CSRD and PPWR regulation.

Circularity is embedded in the company’s product design. All solutions are designed for long service life and full recyclability at end-of-life. This enables true closed-loop material cycles and reduces dependence on virgin raw materials.

KTPconTeyor operates with a focus on ethical leadership, transparency and accountability, guided by global policies, ISO 14001 certification, KPI dashboards and continuous improvement processes. Its EcoVadis Gold Medal, awarded again in December 2025, provides independent validation of its sustainability performance.

In January 2026 KTPconTeyor has become a member of the Roundtable for Reusable Containers, Trays and Pallets (RCTP). RCTP brings together key industry players to reduce packaging waste and accelerate the transition toward reusable transport packaging systems across industries and throughout Europe. Our participation allows us to actively contribute to important discussions around reusable, returnable, and recyclable packaging – and to help strengthen the collective voice of our industry, especially in the context of upcoming EU regulations such as PPWR.

“We are proud to be part of this important initiative and to collaborate with industry peers to reduce the environmental impact of secondary packaging. By working together, we can strengthen our collective voice and accelerate the adoption of reusable, returnable and recyclable plastic packaging across the EU. We look forward to making a meaningful and valuable contribution to the roundtable.” Orm Verberne, CEO

It is our conviction that we contribute to a better world and that we drive a responsible and proactive approach to environmental responsibility.
