Newtree Impact invests in the future of our plates.

Food is one of the largest drivers of climate change, water stress and biodiversity loss—but it is also one of the most powerful levers for systemic transformation. Newtree Impact was created to act on this leverage point. It is the first financial company in Belgium to embed its mission directly into its bylaws, adopting a mission-locked governance model inspired by the entreprise à mission framework. As an evergreen investment holding, Newtree Impact supports long-term transformation by design.

In just four years, Newtree Impact has scaled from €0 to €30 million in capital raised, mobilising a community of more than 750 investors around a single, sector-specific mission. This growth has been anchored by leading institutional investors, including SFPIM, Wallonie Entreprendre, Noshaq, Whitestone and IMBC, alongside entrepreneurs and private investors committed to long-term impact and financial discipline.

All capital raised is deployed exclusively for impact. To date, Newtree Impact supports 22 participations, spanning food tech, ag tech and climate-resilient solutions, with investment activity increasing by 46% in 2025 alone. The portfolio focuses on entrepreneurs reinventing how food is produced and distributed—across alternative ingredients, precision fermentation, sustainable agriculture and circular solutions—delivering measurable reductions in emissions, land and water use, and pollution compared to conventional food systems. Portfolio companies operate across more than 13 countries, demonstrating the scalability and global relevance of the solutions supported.

Looking ahead, Newtree Impact’s ambition is to triple its size within the next three years, reaching a €100 million holding by 2028, while remaining fully mission anchored.

By combining a legally embedded mission, long-term evergreen capital, institutional-grade governance and broad investor participation, Newtree Impact demonstrates that impact, scale and financial performance can grow together—and that food systems transformation is not only necessary, but investable.

This is the opportunity of the future. Join us in reshaping the food system—together. Vote with your fork!
